Nigeria’s biggest music export, 2Face Idibia’s twitter account is now officially verified by twitter, it makes it easier to be differentiated from other parody accounts on the site. 2Face has now joined Asa, Nneka, D’Banj, Genevieve Nnaji, Omotola Ekeinde Jalade, Ice Prince, and others who already had their accounts with twitter verified.
Twitter uses verification to establish the authenticity of tweeters, and does so proactively—they concentrate on “highly sought users in music, acting, fashion, government, politics, religion, journalism, media, advertising, business, and other key interest areas.
