CHRIS BROWN NAME BLOCKED FROM THE INTERNET

After having the album cover of his latest effort, “Fortune” defaced with a sticker that reads “Warning. Do not buy this album! This man beats women” the 2009 assault on his then-girlfriend Rihanna still haunts him. A Toronto-based website AUX launched “Brownout” an application that blocks all mention of Chris Brown’s name from the internet. The app currently runs only in the Google Chrome browser.
Explaining to CBS affiliate on how the app works, AUX online producer Sam Sutherland said: “All we had to do is build a frame where it recognises the word and ignores it and literally erases it. You can see everything except his name and his face.”
Sutherland added: “If he wants to get a tattoo on his neck that kind of looks like Rihanna we are going to write about it. But at some point, it reaches Chris Brown idiocy saturation. For her part, Rihanna has forgiven Brown. In recent interviews she urged Brown’s critics to move on with their lives”
Referring to the app, crushable.com said “If you can’t see his name, then you can’t see the color of rage that so often accompanies a sighting of his name”
