I didn’t want to say nadda about this news till I got confirmation. As first revealed via several reports on twitter, Wande Coal’s “Go Low” video has been banned by the NBC (National Broadcast Commission) barely a week into its release (a Mavin Records insider confirms this). The “Not To Be Broadcast” (NTBB) ban is restricted to Local TV stations; MTV Base, Channel O, Soundcity and others will continue to stream it.
Reasons?? Well… only one thing comes to mind… “nudity”… even though that’s probably the flimsiest reason ever, considering the fact that the ladies, though scantily clad, weren’t really showing that much. But that’s my opinion. What’s yours?
